 The Physicians Outpatient Surgery
Center, Ltd. is an ambulatory surgery center developed by
physicians to provide state-of-the-art surgical care in a
comfortable environment.
This facility is the first free standing ambulatory
surgical facility in Southeastern Ohio, with two operating
rooms capable of general anesthesia and a designated laser
suite.
The Center is staffed by surgeons, pharmacists,
anesthesiologists, registered nurses, certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), and surgical technicians.
Cataract surgery monitoring is typically performed by CRNAs.
All surgeries are done on an outpatient basis so
patients return home on the same day. The Center has been certified by
the Accreditation Association
for Ambulatory Health Care.
